Hi! Just bought the kindle version, and this is the page the included link provides for the companion off. How can I download it? Thanks!
Hello Bethany,
You will need to purchase the Companion PDF. It’s only 99 cents, managed through PayPal and totally secure. Once payment is processed, you will be emailed a download link right away and then you can save it to your computer, print, etc.
Thanks for reading!!
I would also like to add that the Printable Companion is more than just the labels. It includes printables of the recipes and all the labels as well. This was purposefully done so that those readers who would like to create printed versions of the recipes had this option as well as the usable labels. There is a lot of value there for under $1.00.
Thanks again for being a reader.

Thank you SO much for the printable book. I can print this out and keep it in a binder and also print it out for a gift to give with the jars and that way they can remake them. They can pay for the hard copy or the Kindle book for the rest.
Thank you so much.
You’re very welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
I just got your book yesterday, and I love it, love the concept. Thank you so much for doing this. You make it so do able, and manageable with “regular” sized batches. I have another make a mix book and it is good, just overwhelming. It makes large batches and has so many different mixes, it is too much. This is just the normal, everyday stuff that a family needs all of the time. Young families and empty nesters like me can use this. Thanks
Hello Pamela,
Thanks so much for the feedback! That was exactly my intention and I’m so glad I hit home for you!!
Thanks for being a reader!
I make mixes all the time and have tons of recipes how can I know I am not getting duplicates?
You can view the Table of Contents on Amazon with their “Look Inside” feature.
I paid to download the printable version of Make ahead Mix Day but I cannot download.
I bought and downloaded both but I did not get a link for the labels. Any help at all would be appreciated.
Just wondering if this is still available? Wished I had this when my kids were home. I did from scratch meals for all 6 kids and my husband & I. Still would make them to give to my kids for their families.
Available on Amazon! Thank You!
I purchased the hard copy and the kindle and I still can’t get to the PDF What do I do?
TIA
Hi Debbie,
If you have the hard copy (paperback) there really isn’t anything new for you in the PDF (because the labels in the paperback can be copied) but if you are looking for the printable labels email me at [email protected] and put Companion PDF Please in the subject line – I’ll send you an attachment.
I bought the Kindle edition a few years ago. I haven’t bought any box mixes since and have many mixes on hand at all times. One I use often is the spiced muffin mix with fresh blueberries.
Can I buy this book at a book store ? If so whitch book store ?[
That’s hard to say. I know some wholesalers have purchased it but where they offer it, I could not say. I guess it’s possible you could come across it out there but the best availability is online. You can buy it in paperback from Amazon. Thanks for your interest!
I would like to purchase the companion prof labels but can not find where to order on your website. I purchased the kindle version and need the label app
The Companion PDF Labels are now provided free to Kindle eBook purchasers. Simply email [email protected] and put “Companion PDF Please” in the subject line and I will send it right out to you.
Thank You!
I LOVE the biscuit mix. I haven’t bought a box of Bisquick in 20 years since discovering THIS recipe using 5# of flour. It keeps in a Rubbermaid container in the cupboard and makes ANY and ALL of my baking and cooking whims. I bake biscuits two at a time with two Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage patties on the same small baking pan. 1/4 cup of baking mix per biscuit. Two biscuits and two sausage patties for two breakfast biscuit sandwiches done in 10 minutes. I use the back of a (20 year old Bisquick box) for quick reference to cooking times. Oh, and I also add a can of SACO (powdered buttermilk) to the entire 5# of mix. This is great!
Just wanted you to know that this mix is my most valuable recipe. It is the only one I’ve found that uses an entire 5# bag of flour! No measuring! I AM HAPPY!!
Love!!
I bought this Make Ahead Mix book 20 years ago. I can’t even count how many batches of “Bisquick” I have made over the years. It is the easiest recipe to reproduce using a five pound bag of flour. No measuring the flour!
It makes a perfect any kind of recipe you would normally make with Bisquick. The only thing I do differently is to add a can of Sacco (dry buttermilk) to the entire batch. Thank you for making it possible for me to save TONS of money for the last 20 years. I use this for almost of my baking. I highly recommend adding the Sacco. Thank you for this, my very favorite, most reproduced recipe of all time.
I love hearing this! Thanks so much!
